Members of the top biomedical research networks around the word to meet in Barcelona

The International Center for Scientific Debate is collaborating on the 'ICREA Conference on Network Medicine Approaches to Human Disease: from Computers to the Clinics', from 21 to 23 November

The Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies (ICREA), Barcelona Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona), Spanish National Bioinformatics Institute (INB) and Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) are organizing the ICREA Conference on Network Medicine Approaches to Human Disease: from Computers to the Clinics, in which members of the top biomedical research networks around the world will participate.

The conference will bring together international experts in systems biology applied to drug design and personalized medicine in order to establish common therapeutic strategies to fight complex diseases. Doctors, basic and clinical researchers, and companies will debate and share their experiences to foster multidisciplinary collaborations and pool expertise on the risks and challenges of personalized medicine.

There will be five thematic sessions:

  • Charting Disease-Associated Networks
  • Exploiting Networks
  • Targeting Networks and Interactions
  • From Networks to Therapeutics
  • Towards Personalized Medicine

The International Center for Scientific Debate (ICSD) is collaborating in the organization of this prestigious event.
